It is my pleasure to welcome you to the web site for the Palm Bay Professional Firefighters, Local 2446 of the International Association of Firefighters.  We hope you enjoy the site and the information it provides both the visiting public and our union membership. 

We are not the Palm Bay Fire Department.  We are the labor organization that represents the uniformed Palm Bay Firefighters in a variety of labor related matters.  We are the bargaining agent for the Firefighters in contractual matters. 

As an organization within our community, we sponsor a variety of charitable fund raising events.  For an example we have an annual commitment to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, collecting and donating thousands of dollars for this cause.  We support the local community by sponsoring little league baseball, youth soccer as well as an assortment of other scholastic events.  We are currently in the process of selling 2008 Firefighter calendars to raise money to provide the Palm Bay Fire Department with public education materials to hand out to local school children.
